RJ New Designs has recently joined Bartercard. For those who aren´t familiar with it, Bartercard is an extensive global transaction system which enables members to exchange their goods and services with other member businesses, without using cash.

Bartercard has a membership base of 23,000 in Australia (over 55,000 in 12 countries around the world). Purchases on Bartercard can be made immediately, using interest-free credit, and paid for later with your own goods and services.

Similar to a credit/debit card transaction, members receive a plastic transaction card and an interest-free line of credit to facilitate the Barter transaction. Trade dollars are credited to the member's Bartercard account upon a trade sale transaction with another member. The account balance, or the remaining interest-free line of credit, then reflects the funds available for further transactions with Bartercard members.

RJ New Designs is aiming to do one website on Bartercard a month. RJ New Designs´ Bartercard websites will be focused on static html websites: we will not do any e-commerce or database-driven websites on Bartercard.

A recent RJ New Designs Bartercard website was Priority Help Desk, another one, Tony Salinovich & Associates Chartered Accountants, is due to be launched in August.

RJ New Designs provided a complete project management service for the development of the new Cairns Mushrooms website. This included: providing advice and direction on the site´s content and layout, developing brand consistent creative for the site, writing all of the website´s copy, sourcing images for the site and providing image management across the site. The finished website was in complete satisfaction of client´s needs and objectives.

RJ New Designs recently completed a site redesign for Down Under Helicopters. Services provided in conjunction with this project include, but are not limited to: website re-branding and brand implementation across the site, image management and the addition and inclusion of Flash Animation and a Tour Booking Form. RJ New Designs worked closely with the client to develop a dynamic and attractive tourism-orientated website.

RJ New Designs developed a new website for Priority Help Desk. As well as ensuring the design was brand consistent, RJ New Designs also included advanced dhtml scripting into the site´s development, to facilitate the provision of multi-level service information, and an interactive contact form. RJ New Designs also soured imagery for the site and provided a grammar checking service for the copy.

RJ New Designs completed a website upgrade to the MV Design & Construction site. Specifically, the client wanted to be able to easily update house designs, imagery and information. To facilitate this, RJ New Designs recoded the website to include a back-end, database driven content management system. In addition, several new pages were added to the site and new house and land packages were uploaded.

RJ New Designs recently developed a new website for Pacific Bladeware. In conjunction with this project, RJ New Designs developed a logo for the company, and then used this as the basis for the website’s design and branding. In addition, RJ New Designs provided image management services for the site and incorporated Flash Animation into the site´s design.

RJ New Designs recently completed a site redesign for Dial-A-Basket. Services provided during this project include: the development of a new logo and corporate colours, which were integrated across the site´s design, image management, display product listings, a product enquiry form and the inclusion of an on-line ordering facility. This is a database driven website: the client received their first orders from the site, the day it went live.
