Family Responsibilities Commission Needed A New Look
The Families Responsibilities Commission (FRC) already had a website, but it was outdated in appearance and functionality. They needed a refresh and RJ New Designs were proud to partner with them, to design and develop a great looking new website.

The Family Responsibilities Commission is a statutory body conceived by Aboriginal Australians and driven by community members, whose purpose is to support welfare reform community members restore socially responsible standards of behaviour, local authority and wellbeing. They work with communities in Aurukun, Coen, Doomadgee, Hope Vale and Mossman, with a central registry office in Cairns. Their old site contained all the information they needed, but lacked the community focus and contemporary branding the FRC had developed a few years prior.
RJ New Designs worked with them to understand their primary objectives and preferred outcomes, developing a suggested new site plan and navigation structure to highlight the FRC communities and commissioners. Once the site plan was approved, we set to work. The new-look FRC website contains the current logo and colour palette, but incorporates taglines, messaging and branding elements which had been developed in conjunction with marketing activities a few years prior.
The website provides the FRC with a modern, contemporary online presence. It’s an online portal and reference tool, for engaging and providing information and resources about their very offline activities. It can be seen here www.frcq.org.au
