Campbell’s Arabian Racing Stables Wanted A Website
Campbell’s Arabian Racing Stables is based in Kuranda, on the Atherton Tablelands, and is passionate about breeding world-class performance Arabians. They had tried to work with several other web developers, with no success. They contacted RJ New Designs and we made it happen, creating a website to showcase their property, horses and passion.
“Fun Fact. I grew up on a farm and I loved horses. I was lucky enough that my family shared this passion and at one time, we had around 10 horses. While most of these were Quarter Horses, my favourite mare was a part-Arab with a whole lot of style. With this love and knowledge of horses in my DNA, sharing the Campbell’s vision for their website was an absolute pleasure.”

After meeting Cameron Campbell, owner of Campbell’s Arabian Racing Stables, a few times – we were able to get a firm understanding of his purpose, not only in breeding the horses but also for the website.
Images were imperative. So, we prepared a photography and videography brief and suggested some local professionals he could engage for the task. Once the resources were in-hand, we set to work designing and developing a custom-built WordPress website.
This site showcases the property and horses. It also contains a horse ‘filter’ enabling online users to search for mares / fillies, performance prospects, next generation horses, racing / endurance, stallions / colts and horses for sale.
Individual pages were prepared for each horse. Each page contained images, birth, registration and pedigree details. This was a complicated process and we enjoyed working through it all with the owner. The finished website is now live and we’re all happy with the end product.
