Hooker Boats Wanted a New Look

Hooker Boats is a well-established, local Cairns business. They have a reputation as being the premier performance boat builders. Locally owned and family operated, they share a lot of the same values as RJ New Designs and their boats, just like our websites, are custom designed and built to last. When they wanted a new website, they chose us; we worked together, to create a great new site.

Hooker Boats already had a website when they approached RJ New Designs. While they were happy with the navigation and content, they wanted a fresh new design, which would provide a modern, dynamic online presence.

Specifically, they wanted to showcase their range of boats in a more visually appealing and engaging fashion. They already had a fantastic range of images and videos, which can mean the difference between amazing and average, when it comes to design, so we set to work.

The first step in this website project was to develop the creative, which would form the framework for the whole site. Once that was approved, we moved forward with coding and development. The new Hooker Boats website has 6 primary pages and 18 individual boat listings. It showcases videos and images, across all pages of the site.

It’s a customised WordPress website, which provides Hooker Boats with the ability to edit content and images, as and when needed. It includes a customised product module, developed for the boats, and integrates with social media accounts to populate the ‘news’ section of the site.
