Weipa Sports Fishing Wanted A New Website

Weipa Sports Fishing already had a website when they approached us. It was quite dated in its design and appearance and was not maximising the range of fantastic images that Lee had available. We reviewed the existing site and prepared a quote and proposal on its rebuild. In conjunction with this, we also prepared a proposed new navigation structure for the site. The new structure was designed to maximise the site’s performance for organic (unpaid for) SEO for key search terms, being the range of fishing charters available. It also made the site easy to navigate.

At RJ New Designs we prepare each design from scratch. In this instance, Lee from Weipa Sports Fishing had a fantastic range of images at his disposal. To make best use of these, we created a design which allowed us to showcase several images on each page, whilst breaking up the content at the same time. We also included an Instagram feed into the bottom of the site, which ensured the site would ‘refresh’ with new images, as and when Lee updated his Instagram account.

The colour scheme for the new site reflects the Weipa Sports Fishing logo and also the images incorporated across the site. This was a fun site to work on and we’re glad that Lee likes the finished site just as much as we do. Check it out here www.weipasportsfishing.com.au
